We work with top awarding bodies:
Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR)
The CIPR is the only public relations professional body in the UK with a Royal Charter. The CIPR Awarding Body develops, regulates and controls the CIPR Diploma, Advanced Certificate and Foundation Award in public relations, the Internal Communication Certificate and Diploma, and the Public Affairs and Crisis Diplomas.
PR Academy has been delivering CIPR courses since 2007. We have worked closely with the CIPR over the years to develop its Internal Communication and Public Affairs courses, and we pioneered the development of the online versions of its qualifications.
On successful completion of a CIPR qualification you may be able to fast-track to become a CIPR Accredited Practitioner. You can join the CIPR and benefit from its Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme and earn 60 CPD points when you take a CIPR diploma or certificate level course.
University of Chester (UoC)
We chose to work with the University of Chester on our Post Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communication because it is a leader in the filed of work based learning. The University also has an excellent Master's programme led by Professor Danny Moss. Gaining the Certificate (or the CIPR Professional PR Diploma) means you are already part way to a Master's.
Association for Project Management (APM)
APM is a registered charity with more than 21,000 individual and 570 corporate members making it the largest professional body of its kind in Europe and in 2016 was granted Chartered status. APM's mission statement is “To provide leadership to the movement of committed organisations and individuals who share our passion for improving project outcomes”. Its vision is "A world in which all projects succeed".
It offers a range of project management qualifications, including the Project Fundamentals Qualification which we deliver for communication practitioners.
International Association of Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC)
AMEC is the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication.
It is the world’s largest media intelligence and insights professional organisation, representing organisations and practitioners who provide media evaluation and communication research. AMEC currently has more than 150 members in 86 countries worldwide. AMEC thinks and operates internationally, forming working groups from different countries to work together on new initiatives, all reinforced by its International Chapters in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.
The AMEC logo is regarded as an international mark of excellence in the provision of media evaluation and communication research services to clients. AMEC’s pioneering work in the field has included the development of the Barcelona Principles; Barcelona Principles 2.0 and most recently the launch of the AMEC Integrated Evaluation Framework.
