Awarding bodies

As the largest provider of public relations education in the UK, PR Academy not only designs and delivers a wide range of face-to-face and online communication courses, but also works with top awarding bodies, including:

The University of Chester (UoC)
The University of Chester is the top-ranked ‘new’ university in the North West of England. Its Centre for Work Related Studies (CWRS) is renowned internationally for its ability to work with organisations and professionals in the workplace in order to provide significant learning opportunities and real workplace impact. It runs one of the largest work-based learning programmes in Europe and has worked with major private sector organisations as well as the Cabinet Office, RAF, NHS and others.

The University is acknowledged as a leader in the provision of work-based training and facilitation and so is a natural partner and awarding body for PR Academy’s practically focused courses. Find out more about the UoC courses developed and run by PR Academy.

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR)
The CIPR is the only public relations professional body in the UK with a Royal Charter. The CIPR Awarding Body develops, regulates and controls the CIPR Diploma, Advanced Certificate and Foundation Award in public relations, the Internal Communication Certificate and Diploma, and the Public Affairs Diploma. Find out more about CIPR courses.

PR Academy has been delivering CIPR courses since 2007. We have worked closely with the CIPR over the years to develop its Internal Communication and Public Affairs courses, and we pioneered the development of the online versions of its qualifications.

The International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC)
AMEC is the world’s largest professional body for communications research, media intelligence and insights. The AMEC College delivers, and is the awarding body for, the AMEC International Certificate in Measurement and Evaluation course that has been developed with PR Academy. Find out more about this course.

The Association for Project Management (APM)
APM is an award-winning registered charity with more than 21,150 individual and 550 corporate members; it is the largest professional body of its kind in Europe. APM is committed to developing and promoting project and programme management, which it does through qualifications such as the APM Project Management for Communicators course developed and run by PR Academy.
