About this course

As the world of work changes due to COVID-19, good listening is critical to support employees, some of whom may be working remotely with little or no face to face contact with colleagues.

We’ve got two great course leaders for you. The programme is co-delivered by Dr Kevin Ruck of PR Academy and Mike Pounsford of Couravel an organisation development consultant who specialises in communication and change.  Mike has led listening exercises for many blue-chip clients.

The course will draw on the 2019 Who’s Listening report, co-authored by Mike, Kevin Ruck from PR Academy and Howard Krais from IABC UK&I.

Its taught online by Kevin and Mike.  There are online, one-hour workshops, online exercises, guided reading, bite size video and case studies.
The course isn't assessed formally. However, in the final virtual workshop, students will work on an aspect of their business where they think listening could be improved and come away from the course with actions that can be put into place right away.
