CIPR Crisis Communication Diploma

Course Introduction

This six month diploma is taught online with an optional one day face to face workshop in central London. The workshop is run by  international consultancy Regester Larkin who specialise in crisis, issues and reputation management.

You will learn about:

  • Crisis prone behaviour and management styles
  • The organisation in society
  • Issues management
  • Reputation, its vulnerabilities and its opportunities
  • Trust as an asset
  • Relationships – why and how they can support or threaten
  • Carrying out effective audits and research.
The course is assessed through a crisis management plan for an organisation of your choice.

Right for you?

This course is designed for experienced public relations practitioners who are keen to develop their expertise in the area of response and crisis management. You will possibly already hold the CIPR diploma or an undergraduate degree in PR or Communication.
