Turn your CIPR PR Diploma into an MBA with the University of Dundee

 

You’ve got your CIPR Professional PR Diploma – so what next?

Have you thought about an MBA? If so, the good news is that you can receive credits for the work you have already done for your CIPR PR Diploma.

The University of Dundee offers a Recognition of Prior Informal Learning (RPIL) route to its Global MBA (Top-Up) for professionals who hold the CIPR Professional PR Diploma and have at least two years’ management or leadership experience.

It is taught online (with an optional week-long summer school) and can be completed in two years.

Am I eligible?

This is what you need to join the programme:

  • An existing qualification: CIPR Professional PR Diploma. This is worth 60 credits. (Other qualifications at this level may also be eligible)
  • Professional experience: At least two years’ management or leadership experience
  • Informal learning/learning through experience:  This needs to be presented as part of a portfolio and is worth 30 credits.

What does it cost?

The cost is £8,800, made up as folllows:

  • Tuition fee: £8,500
  • RPIL assessment fee: £100 per 10 credits claimed (£300 total for 30 credits)
