Over the past three years, the ‘Who’s Listening?’ project has provided many insights into how organisations listen to their employees and what communication managers can do to embed listening into plans.

Perhaps the most illuminating finding is the way that communication managers reported relatively high levels of listening in their organisation that were not then always backed up by reports of what was done in practice.

This is intriguing and so, in the next phase of the research, Mike Pounsford, Howard Krais and myself are exploring this in more depth.

Come and join us for online focus groups in November to discuss:

  • How senior leaders listen and support (or not) cultures that encourage listening and speaking up
  • The role of leaders and communicators
  • The practices and behaviours that are important to support listening

The following online sessions run from 12.30pm to 2pm, with one (on 4 November at 5pm).  They will be small groups of up to ten people.

Everyone who takes part will receive a detailed report summarising the results of these discussions and an invitation to an exclusive webinar and discussion of findings in early 2022. We’d love you to join us, please select a date that works for you and register below.
