Overview:

The brand new CIPR Specialist Diploma: Digital Communication equips you with the knowledge you need to make social and digital media an effective, integral part of your communication strategy.

Understand online behaviour trends, digital and social media technologies and platforms, digital planning, community building and management, content creation and curation, platform selection, data analytics and evaluation.

You will learn online and benefit from unlimited tutor support. It’s just three to four hours of study each week. We have a great line up of subject matter experts to bring you the latest knowledge and practice. Our resources are really flexible too, enabling you to study easily around work and home commitments.

Our tuition costs : £1340 plus VAT*

If you are paying your own tuition fees, you have the option to pay by instalment. Instalment details are here.

If you are paying for the course yourself, payment is by credit or debit card. If your employer is paying, when you come to enrol you can request an invoice so that they can pay us by bank transfer.

*The course price is made up of the tuition fees plus the CIPR course registration fee and awarding body fee. Breakdown:

PR Academy tuition fee: £1340 plus VAT

CIPR Awarding body fee: £330 VAT exempt

CIPR Course registration fee: £75 VAT exempt

Unlimited tutor support. There are nine webinars run by experienced tutor/practitioners with the opportunity for lots of interaction, which are also recorded for later playback. There are regular, lively online discussions about contemporary practice. Our online learning centre makes virtual networking with other practitioners possible too. Unlike lots of online learning your tutor is with you all the way – you aren’t left on your own to work through lots of static content. Your tutor will be keeping in touch and encouraging you all the way.

You are probably working in a communication role and are keen to develop your expertise in social media and digital communication as part of your strategic communication.

The CIPR enrolment criteria:

CIPR Professional PR Certificate

OR

One of the following plus one year's relevant full-time employment in public relations (or related sectors, e.g. marketing, journalism) and five GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which must be in English language:

Postgraduate professional qualification in a related discipline (e.g. CIM diploma)

UK Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a communication -related discipline: business, marketing, management, communication, media or journalism

OR

One of the following plus two years' relevant full-time employment in public relations or digital communication (or related sectors) and five GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which must be in English language:

CAM Advanced Diploma in Marketing Communication

NCTJ Diploma

UK Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any other subject

LCCIEB qualification which must comprise five level-three subjects in PR, marketing, advertising, and principles & practice of management

OR

Four years' relevant full-time employment in public relations or digital communication (or related sectors) and five GCSEs at grade C or above, one of which must be in English language.

ALSO….

If English is not your first language, you must be able to demonstrate that you can write and speak English to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band score of 6.5 or equivalent.
